Chhena poda recipe-Chocolate chhena poda-Odisha chhena poda











This is a recipe of chhena poda, a famous sweet of Odisha state. I am trying to make a new chhena poda with adding chocolate. Chhena poda sweet is white in colour. But adding chocolates in paneer change it's colour.

I just tried to present it in a new way. The process of making this sweet is very easy because it is a without oven recipe.

Once in a get together I made chocolate chhena poda for my friends. They all liked it and told me for adding the recipe in my blog. 



Ingredients :
2 litre milk
2 tbsp vinegar + 2 tbsp water
4 tbsp semolina
1 small bowl or 8 tbsp sugar
2 tsp clarified butter
2 tbsp choco chips
1 tbsp cocoa powder



Method 
How to make :

• Boil 2 litre milk for making Paneer.
• Mix 2 tbsp vinegar and 2 tbsp water in a bowl.
• When milk started boiling pour vinegar mix in milk.
• Stir milk continuously 
• You can make paneer with lemon juice also, but first mix same quantity of lemon juice and water in a bowl then add it in milk.
• When paneer and water separate close the flame and leave it for sometimes.
• Add 1 kg salt in a pan spread uniformly, add a stand over salt and cover the pan in slow flame for 10 minutes.
• Strain paneer in strainer and take it in a plate.



• Add 2 tbsp semolina and 1 bowl sugar in paneer and mix it properly.
• You can take sugar as per your taste.



• Don't rub it more, just mix it roughly.
• Then add 2 tbsp ghee and mix it.
• Then divide the Paneer in 2 part.
• Add 2 tbsp choco chips in 1 part and mix it.
• Take some pieces of dark chocolate and melt it.
• We can melt chocolate in double boiler system or in microwave.
 • Add 1 tbsp cocoa powder and melted chocolate in second part paneer and mix it.
• Grease a 5 inch baking pen with ghee.
• Then add a piece of butter paper in pan.



• Butter paper is optional, you can add or skip it.
• Pour choco chips paneer dough in first layer and chocolaty dough in second layer in pan.
• Spread uniformly.



• Now it is ready for baking.
• Keep the baking pan in pre-heat pan.
• Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in slow medium flame.



• After half an hour check it with toothpick.
• When it is Lukewarm take  in a plate.
• Cut it in pieces.



• Now chocolaty chhena poda is ready for serving.
• Must try the recipe.

Dalgona bread-Homemade sweet bread












This is a without egg and butter sweet dalgona bread recipe. Now the days dalgona recipes are very famous all over the world. I use whipped coffee in bread dough. Whipped coffee gives a delicious and nice flavour to the sweet loaf bread.

Ingredients
For whipped coffee

2 tbsp coffee powder
2 tbsp sugar powder
2 tbsp Lukewarm water

Ingredients
For bread dough :

1 cup refined flour 
2 tbsp sugar powder
1 tbsp refined oil
¼ tsp salt
½ tsp active dry yeast
4 tbsp whipped coffee
Lukewarm milk as needed



Method 
How to make :


• Take 2 tbsp sugar powder, 2 tbsp regular coffee powder and 2 tbsp lukewarm water in a bowl.
• We have to take all ingredients equal quantity.
• you can beat it in hand whisk or in electric blender. If you're using electric blender, then it is very easy to to beat the coffee.
• If you beat it in hand whisk then it takes 5-6 minutes for beating the coffee. 
• Add ½ cup lukewarm water in ½ tsp active dry yeast.
• Leave it for 5 minutes.
• Take 1 cup refined flour, 2 tbsp sugar powder, 1 tbsp refined oil, ¼ tsp salt and 4 tbsp whipped coffee in a plate.
• Pour dry yeast batter in it.
• Mix all ingredients properly.
• Add lukewarm milk step-by-step and make a soft dough.



• Knead the dough for 3 to 4 minutes till it become soft.
• Add some drops of refined oil in your palm when you knead the dough.
• Then grease a bowl with refined oil and add keep dough in it.
• Add a little bit oil over dough, cover the bowl and keep aside for 2 hour in a warm place. 



• After 2 hours take fermented dough in a grease a plate.
• Press it and remove the bubbles.
• Then grease a loaf pan.
• Keep bread in it and spread uniformly.
• Keep aside for one hour in a warm place.



• After one hour preheat oven in 180 degree for 10 minutes.
• Bake it for 20 to 25 minutes.



• After bake 25 minutes keep it for 10 minutes and then unmold from loaf pan.
• Then cut it in pieces, Dalgona bread is ready for serving.

Rakhi special sweet recipe-4 types of Barfi-Without mawa paneer barfi-Burfi recipe-Rakshabandhan special sweet













 It is a barfi recipe of without paneer and Mawa.I am trying to make it with minimum ingredients. Most of the Indian sweets made in dairy product. It is a barfi without milk Mawa ot paneer. I add ½ bowl milk powder in it. It is also optional you can add it or skip it.



Method:
How to make :


• Heat a pan in medium flame, add 1 cup clarified butter in it.
• Then add  2 cup refined flour and ½ cup gram flour in lukewarm clarified butter.
• Fix 1 cup for measurement.
• Cook it in slow medium flame till flour turns to light golden brown colour .
• Continuously stir it in slow medium flame.
• It takes 7 to 8 minutes in slow medium flame for properly cooking.
•Take 2 cups sugar for making sugar syrup Ina pan and add 1 cup water in it.
• We don't need thick or string consistency sugar syrup for this barfi.
• When sugar will properly melt in water and it started boiling then boil sugar syrup for 2 minutes in slow flame.
• Then add cooked flour step by step in sugar syrup, stir it continuously in slow flame till it comes to thick consistency.
• This sweets dough consistency should be a little bit thin then halwa.
• Stir it continuously in slow flame.
• After 2 minutes add ½ cup milk powder, adding milk powder is a optional.
• Mix it properly.
• Then close the flame and add half tsp green cardamom powder in it. 
• Base dough is ready for making flavoured sweet.


For making mango burfi :


• Pour 2 medium size mango pulp in a pan.
• Then add 1 bowl sweet base in it.
• Stir it in continuously in slow medium flame till become thick.
• Grease a plate.
• Pour hot batter in it plate and spread it uniformly.
• Add small pieces of dry fruits over it and press it.
• Leave the plate for two hour for set the burfi.



For making pineapple flavoured barfi :

 
• Add 2 tbsp pineapple crush in 1 bowl sweet base.
• Add pinch of yellow food colour and mix all ingredients properly.
• Adding food colour is optional, you can add it or skip it.
• But food colour makes the sweet beautiful.
• Pour batter in a grease plate, spread uniformly.
• Tips to be noted that every time pour batter in a grease plate.
• Add dry fruits.
• Leave it for two hour.



For making pista barfi : 


• Add pinch of green food colour with 1 bowl sweet base and mix it properly.
• If you have pista flavour essence, then add it.
• Pour batter in a grease plate, spread uniformly.
• Garnish with pista pieces .
• Leave it for two hour.


For making chocolate flavoured Barfi :


• Add 1 tsp cocoa powder in 1 bowl sweet base.
• Don't add too much of cocoa powder, rather than it taste will bitter.
• After mixing properly pour batter in a grease plate and Spread uniformly.
• Garnish with choco chips and leave it for two hour.
• After 2½ hour cut all the Barfi In pieces, then take it in a plate and enjoy.

Aate se bani hui healthy nashta-Wheat flour steamed breakfast







This is the recipe of a healthy breakfast. If you want to make some new then must try this recipe. It is a recipe made with wheat flour and tomato. Adding some spices makes this steam breakfast delicious and mouth watering. It is a steamed food recipe. If you are health conscious then must try the recipe. If you don't like steamed wheat flour then don't try this.


Ingredients
for making dough

• 1 bowl wheat flour
• 1 tsp salt
• ½ tsp roasted cumin powder
• ⅓ tsp chilli powder
• ½ tsp grated ginger
• 1 tsp semolina
• pinch of baking soda


Ingredients
For gravy


• 2 tomato
• 1 inch piece ginger
• 2 green chilli
•  ½ tsp mustard seeds
• ½ tsp cumin seeds
• 10-12 curry leaves
• 2 medium size onion
• ½ tsp turmeric powder
• ½ tsp chilli powder
• 1 tsp sambar masala powder
• salt as per taste



Method :


• Take 1 bowl wheat flour,1 tsp salt, ½ tsp roasted cumin powder, ½ tsp red chilli powder, ½ tsp grated ginger, 1 tsp semolina and pinch of baking soda in a plate.
• Mix all ingredients properly.
• Add water step by step and make dough with it. 
• The dough should be in normal roti dough consistency.
• Knead it properly.
• After 2 minutes divide the dough in some parts.



• Make all dough in oval shape.
• Cut it in pieces and
Shape it.



• Heat two glass water in a pan, add 1 tsp salt in water.
• Add 1 tsp refined oil and add all oval shaped dough pieces in boiled water.
• Cover it and boil in slow video flame.
• After 2 minutes check it, again cover it for 2-3 minutes.
• It takes 5-6 minutes for properly steamed.



• Then close the flame and cool it.
• Take 2 tomato, 1 inch piece ginger and 2 green chilli in a blender jar, blend it and make it smooth.
• After blending take the masala paste in a bowl.
• After comes steamed wheat flour dough in room temperature, cut it in pieces.
• One thing to be noticed, if you don't like steamed wheat flour then don't try it.
• Cut it in semicircle.
• Then take 2 tsp refined oil in a pan and heat it.
• Add cumin and mustard seeds 1 tsp, 10-12 curry leaves in hot oil.
• Add small pieces of 2 onion in it.
• Cook it till it turns to light golden brown colour 
• It takes 2 minutes for cook onion.
• When onion change it's colour add tomato gravy, salt, ½ tsp turmeric powder, ½ tsp red chilli powder, 1 tbsp sambar masala powder in it.



• Cook it for 3 to 4 minutes in slow medium flame.
• After 4 minutes when the masala become thick, add 1 glass water in it.
• Add salt as per taste.
• When gravy started boiling add steamed dough pieces in gravy.
• Cook for 2 to 3 minutes in slow medium flame till gravy comes to thick consistency.
• Then close the flame, add coriander leave and mix it properly.
• Take it in a plate.
• Garnish with coriander leaves.
• Wheat flour breakfast is ready for serving.

White gravy navratan Korma recipe step by step












Navratan korma is a mughlai dish.It made with 9 main ingredients. Navratan korma is a mix veg curry. It's taste is little big sweet and creamy. Adding cashew nuts, cream and other spices makes the peas curry delicious and creamy.

How to make 
Method

• Heat water in a pan and add 1 tsp salt in it.
• Add carrot, potato and french beans in hot water, boil it in slow medium flame for 1 minute.
• Then add cauliflower and green peas in hot water after 1 minute.
• Boil again for 2-3 minutes in slow medium flame. 
• After 3 minutes strain all vegetables and pour it in cold water.
• Leave vegetables for 2-3 minutes in cold water, then take vegetable in a strainer.



Masala gravy making :

• Boil 1 glass water in a pan for masala making.
• Add 3 medium size onion pieces and 20-25 cashew nuts in hot water.
• Boil it till onion looks transparent.
• After comes to room temperature take onion and cashew nuts in a blender jar.
• Add 1 inch Ginger pieces and 2 garlic cloves in it.
• Blended and make a fine paste.



Frying :

• Heat refined oil or ghee in a pan, add 25-30 cashew nuts in it.
• Fry it till cashew nuts comes to light golden brown colour.
 • Fry makhani in same oil till it become crispy.
• It takes 2 minutes for frying makhani.



Method  for making korma :

• Heat 3 tbsp oil in a pan, add half boiled vegetables in hot oil.
• Stir it for 2 minutes without cover.
• Frying vegetables are important because it gives a delicious taste to the curry.
• After 2 minutes close the flame and transfer the fried vegetables in another pan.
• Take 2 tbsp clarified butter in pan.
• Add 2 bay leaves and 2 red chilli in hot clarified butter.
• You can also add green chilli as per your taste. 
• Then add shahi jeera 1 tsp, 3 Green cardamom, 3 clove, 2 cinnamon sticks in hot clarified butter.
• Stir it for some second.
• Then add onion, cashew nuts paste And ½ tsp salt in it.
• Cook masala mix for 3 minutes in slow medium flame till masala perfectly cook and become thick.
• Then add mushroom, corn and salt as per taste.
• Mix it properly and cover in slow flame for 3 to 4 minutes.



• Then add all fried vegetables with masala.
• Mix all vegetables and masala properly.
•Add one glass water and salt and 1 tsp black pepper powder.
• Mix all ingredients properly, cover it for 2 minutes in medium flame.
• After 2 minutes add paneer pieces, Makhni and cashew nuts.
• Mix all ingredients properly.
• Navratan korma is little bit sweet in taste
• So add ½ tsp sugar and ½ cup fresh cream in vegetable.
• Mix all ingredients.
• Take it in a bowl for serving.
• Garnish with cashew nut, fresh cream and coriander leaves.
• Navratan Korma is ready for serving.
• We can serve it with roti, paratha, naan, chapati or rice.
