Spinach dosa-palak dosa-healthy dosa

Spinach/palak dosa

Ingredients :

1 bowl ready dosa batter
½ bundle palak (spinach)
1 inch siece ginger
½ garlic
½ tsp cumin powder
½ tsp chilli powder
salt as per taste


Method : How to make

1 - Heat a pan. Add 1 tsp oil in it.
2 - Then add ginger and garlic in hot oil. Cook it for 1 minute.
3 - Add spinach leaves and salt in pan. Stir it for 2 minutes without cover.
4 - When spinach comes to room temperature, take it in a blender jar, blend it and make a smooth paste.
5 - Pour palak paste in dosa batter.
6 - Mix dry masala powder and salt in it. Mix batter it properly.
7 - Heat a dosa pan in medium flame. Add 1 tsp dosa batter and spread it over pan in a thin layer.
8 - After 2 minutes change dosa's side.
9 - Then take dosa in a plate, serve with chutney sauce.

Medu vada-without onion garlic-south indian cuisine

Medu vada/without onion garlic


Ingredients :

2 cup urad dal (black gram)
1 inch piece ginger
5-6 green chilli
Coriander leaves
Curry leaves
Salt as per taste

How to make batter for vada :

Soak urad dal (black gram) for 4/5 hours. Then blend it and make a smooth batter. Cover the batter & keep it aside for 5-6 hours. After this process your medu vada batter is ready for making.

Method : How to make medu vada

1 - Add grated ginger, salt coriander leaves, curry leaves in urad dal (black gram) batter.
2 - Beat the batter for 2 minutes .
3 - Heat oil in medium flame. Take 2 tsp batter in palm. Make it round shape and make a hole in the middle part of the batter. Then add it in lukewarm oil.
4 - Make all the vada in same process.
5 - Fry the vada till it turns to light golden brown colour.
6 - When it changes its colour take all vada in a plate & serve it with chutney or sauce.

Sambar-South Indian cuisine

Sambar / South Indian dish
Ingredients:

Boiled vegetable 1 bowl (you can take vegetables as for your choice)

Half cup toor dal boiled with turmeric and salt
Some curry leaves
½ garlic
2 tsp tamarind pulp
2 tsp sambar masala powder
½tsp turmeric powder
Salt as per taste
Pinch of asafoetida

Method- How to make Sambar:


1 - Add ½cup water in boiled dal. Then mash it roughly.
2 - Heat a pan in medium flame. Add 4 tsp oil in it.
3 - Then add ½tsp cumin and mustard seeds, pinch of asafoetida ,garlic, turmeric and curry leaves. Cook it for 1 minute in slow film.
4 - Then add boiled dal , boiled vegetable, ½ glass water, tamarind paste, sambar masala, salt and sugar.
5 - Boil it for 2-3 minute. Take in a bowl. Then serve it with roti,paratha,naan, chapati or rice.
