Without onion garlic dabeli-Jain dabeli-Jain dabeli of Gujarat-Street food dabeli of Gujarat-Without patato dabeli

Dabeli is one of the most popular street food of Maharashtra and Gujarat. Usually boiled potato is used as stuffing in dabeli. But in Jain dabeli, boiled raw banana is used for stuffing. Jain dabeli is equal tasty as normal dabeli. It is a wthout onion garlic recipe.

Ingredients:


5 raw banana
2 red tomato
1 tsp dabeli masala
1 tbsp ghee
2 green cardamom
2 clove
1 cinnamon sticks
½ bowl pomegranate seeds
Sweet tamarind chutney
Sev

Green chutney:



Ingredients:

2 bowl oriander leaves
1 inch inger
2 green chilli
½ bowl rosted peanuts


Masala peanuts:

Ingredients:

½ bowl roasted peanuts
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp chilli powder
½ tsp garam masala powder
Salt as per taste
½ tsp sugar powder (optional)

• Boiled raw banana.
• After comes to temperature remove the cover of raw banana and mash it.
• Heat a pen in medium flame and add 1 tbsp clarified butter in it.
• Then add 2 green cardamom, 2 cloves and 1 cinnamon stick in in hot clarified butter.

• Add small pieces of 2 tomato and salt as per taste.
• Stir it till tomato become soft.
• Then add raw banana paste, 1 tsp dabeli masala and salt in it.
• Mix all the ingredients and cook it for 2-3 minute in medium flame.
• If you want you can add 1 tsp sugar in stuffing, it is optional.

• For making green chutney, take coriander leaves, ginger, green chilli and roasted peanuts in a blender jar, blend it and make a smooth paste.

• For making masala peanuts, heat a pan and add oil in it. Don't heat oil too much. Then add cumin powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder and garam masala powder and salt in lukewarm oil. Stir it for some second. Now peanuts masala is ready.

• Cut the bread in middle part.Heat a flat pan and add 2 piece of butter in it. Now heat the bread in butter.

• Then arrange dabeli. add 1 tsp green chutney in the middle part of the bread. Then add 1 tsp raw banana stuffing over it. Add 1 tsp sweet tamarind chutney,  pomegranate seeds and sev in it. After arranged dabeli take it in a plate and keep some masala peanuts in the side of the dabeli. Now jain dabeli is ready for serving.

Veg momos recipe-Steamed momos-How to make vegetable stuffed steamed momos


This popular street food of India momos original comes from Tibetan cuisine. But in India people make different types of momos as per their choice. We named The momos as per their stuffing's name. In this recipe I use varieties of vegetables and spices. You must find a easy process to make momos at home in this blog.


Ingredients :
For making doug:

3 cup refined flour 
1 tsp salt
2 tsp refined oil
Water foe making dough

Ingredients :
For stuffing :

4 tsp oil
2 onion
2 tbsp grated garlic
1 tsp grated Ginger 
½ grated cauliflower 
2 grated capsicum
3 grated carrot
½ tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp soya sauce
Salt as per taste




Method :

Add salt and 2 tsp refined oil in refined flour.
Mix it properly.
Then add water step by step and make a stiff dough.
Momo's dough should be in samosa dough consistency.



Knead the dough for 2 minutes till it become smooth.
Cover the dough and keep aside for 10 minutes.
For making stuffing add 4 tbsp refined oil in a pan and heat it in medium flame.


Then add onion pieces in hot oil and stir it for half minute.
Then add grated ginger garlic in it.
Then add all grated vegetables and salt as per your taste.
Stir vegetables for 2 minutes in medium flame till it half cook.
Then add black pepper powder and 1 tsp soya sauce in vegetable.
Mix all ingredients properly.


Stuffing is ready for making momos.
Arrange double boiler system for steaming the momos.
Now make small balls in dough for making momos.
Roll the small dough balls with the help of rolling pin.
Make small Poori with the dough ball.
Add 1 tsp vegetable stuffing in the middle part of the Poori.
Now add some water in the side of the Poori.


Fold the Poori in one side and make it round shape.
When all momos are ready, grease a steaming plate and keep the momos in it.
Then steam it for 15 minutes in medium flame.
After 15 minutes take momos in a plate and serve it with chutney or sauce.
