Ingredients :
1 bowl roasted peanuts1 bowl jaggery
4 tbsp clarified butter
Method :
• We will take equal quantity of roasted peanuts and jaggery for making peanuts chikki.• Take jaggery in a pan and cook it in slow medium flame.
• Don't cook jaggery in high flame rather than it will not properly cook.
• Stir jaggery continuously till it become liquid.
• Take ½ bowl cold water, add 2-3 drops of melted jaggery in it for checking the consistency.
• We don't want string consistency jaggery syrup for making chikki.
• After string consistency jaggery syrup is perfect for peanuts chikki.
• After check it add roasted peanuts in jaggery syrup.
• Close the flame and continuously stir it.
• Then grease a plate with clarified butter.
• Pour peanuts and jaggery mix over it.
• Grease a rolling pin with clarified butter.
• Then roll the mix in a thin layer.
• Make square size marks over mix with knife.
• After comes to room temperature cut it in pieces.
• Then take in a plate and serve.
• Store it in a container for month and above.
