This recipe "tomato and sweet potato chutney" is sweet and spicy in taste. It is a mouthwatering dish. As a without onion garlic recipe we can make it in fasting also.
Ingredients:
5 tomato
1 sweet potato
Curry leaves
1-inch ginger
4 tbsp sugar
½tsp coriander powder
½tsp cumin powder
½tsp Chilli powder
½tsp turmeric powder
Salt as per taste
Methods- How to make tomato and sweet potato chutney:
1 - Take tomato, ginger and salt in a pan. cover it and cook for 3-4 minutes.
2 - When tomorrow comes to room temperature blend it and make a fine paste. Strain it in a strainer.
3 - Heat a pan in medium flame. Add 1 tsp oil in it.
4 - Add cumin, curry leaves and all dry masala powder in hot oil. cook it for some seconds.
5 - Then add tomato paste in it. Add ½cup water, sugar, boiled sweet potato & salt in it.
6 - Cook it till it becomes thick.
7 - Then take it in a bowl, garnish with coriander leaves and serve it with roti, paratha, naan or rice.
