Carrot halwa is a popular and traditional sweet of India. We can make it in different ways. In this recipe you find a easy process to make carrot halwa in restaurant style.
Ingredients :
1 kg carrot1 cup boiled milk
1 cup sugar
1 cup condensed milk
6 tbsp clarified butter
Dry fruits
½ tsp green cardamom powder
Method :
• Heat a pan in medium flame.• Add 4 tbsp clarified butter in it.
• Then add grated carrot in clarified butter.
• Cook carrot for 2-3 minutes in medium flame and stir it continuously.
• We need proper grated carrot for making halwa.
• you can grate carrot in a slicer or great it in a blenders small blending jar. Don't blend carrot too much rather than carrot will become paste. Just slowly blend for 2-3 second you will find a proper grated carrot for halwa in this process.
• After 3 minute add boiled milk 1 cup milk in carrot.
• Again stir it for 2-3 minutes.
• Then add 1 small bowl sugar in carrot or you can add sugar as per your taste.
• Cook it still the sugar will melt properly.
• Then add 1 small bowl condensed milk.
• Continuous stir it till all ingredients become dry.
• It takes 3-4 minutes for become dry in medium flame.
• When carrot become dry add green cardamom powder and dry fruits in it.
• Mix it properly.
• Then close the flame and add 2 tbsp more clarified butter over carrot halwa.
• Again mix it properly.
• Take halwa in a bowl with dry fruits and serve.
