Vegetable rice-Homemade healthy rice


Vegetable rice
Rice is one of the main Indian food. We can make different recipes with rice. This recipe is a mouth-watering, healthy and delicious one. We can serve vegetable rice with raita or pickles. We can also make vegetable rice in the pan. But in the cooker, we can make it only in 5 minutes.
Ingredients:

2 cup basmati rice
2 capsicum
2 onion
½ bowl corn
1 carrot
2 tomato
2 green cardamom
4 clove
2 stick cinnamon
Salt as per taste

Method-How to make Vegetable Rice:

1 - Pour water in rice and wash it properly & keep aside.
2 - Heat cooker in medium flame, add 4 tbsp oil in it. Then add green cardamom, clove & cinnamon stick in oil.
3 - Then add onion & cook it till it turns to light golden brown colour.
4 - Add capsicum, carrot and salt in it. Cook it for 1 minute & mix the rice in it. Makes it properly.
5 - Then pour double measurement of water in rice. I use 4 cup water for 2 cup rice. Add salt as per taste. Cover the cooker and wait for a whistle.
6 - After one whistle keeps aside for 5 minutes. Then take rice in a plate for serving and garnish it with coriander leaves. Vegetable rice is ready. Must try the recipe and enjoy the delicious taste of the rice.
